This is a system based on a method l use in Australia whereby these to exotic bets are far more popular than over here. We can do multiples whereby l would have 3 selections on the first line, 5 selections on second line, and 7 selections on the third line. The first 3 selections have to be on both other lines.
3 x 5 x 7 = 60 combinations = $60.00 for $1.00

Now l allocate points for the horses in Handicap races using the post data.

1 point for each tick in trainer form, going, ability, and recent form
2 points for each tick in distance and course.
3 points if the horse has won in going.
3 points if the horse has been running in same class
5 points if the horse has come down in class in its last 3 runs( even if had been pulled up, fell etc).

Class is the main factor especially in jumps races.

Take the 3 top rated and follow the system without predjudice.
the winner will come out of the top 7 most times it is the up to you how you use it. l have been here for 2 months not knowing a thing about the racing and the horses. And this system has honestly thrown out some great priced horses, admittedly a lot of short priced horses come up but it just reaffirms how good a bet, and example is Wolverhampton the other night which every winner was on the first selection.

this is a tool that throws in horses that you may overlook, especially for tricasts. ( which can only get bigger over here ) pools in Australia on a crappy midweeker are $30,000 and well over $100,000 on weekends.
the good thing over here is you can minimise your bet ie 10% on this system is $6.00
You must be consistent and go with the flow and although it does not always win you get a good run for your your money and collects are good when you do.

bye and good luck

Matt

Hi Hollystarr,
Looks interesting, how about showing a working example (an idiots guide as it is called over here). I for one am not sure what you mean about having the three selections on the other lines (not wanting to sound too thick).
Hopefully my wife and myself may be going to live in Australia shortly so I would be interested in this before we go.

I have just noticed that your selections do not add up, 3x5x7=105 and not 60 as you mention.
Also, you do not say if these are combination forecasts or tricasts or just straight i.e. any combination of selections 1st & 2nd for f/casts or 1st, 2nd or 3rd for tricasts.
3 selections for a combination forecast would be 6 multiplied by 20 for 5 selections and then multiplied by 42 for 7 selections which makes 5040 bets!
3 selections for a combination tricast would be 6 bets multiplied by 60 for 5 selections and then 210 bets for 7 selections which makes 75,600 bets!
Please let me know where you put this bet on and how you write it out as I will definitely put some money on if you can get it at 60 bets.
I am not being cynical or patronising, please explain the bet in more depth as I am currently working on something for f/c's and tri/c's and this may help me to win some big money.
Cheers,
Dave Fretwell

Sorry for delay been away.

ok best way to explain it is

3x4x5

if l think the race is only between 3 horses to win on the first line. Second line has to have the same 3 horses plus 1 other on the second line. With the same 4 runners plus one extra on the 3rd line. Now because we have the same runners in all three placings to calculate this particular bet would be.

3 x 3 x 3 (27 combinations) because the horse you have on the first line cant come 2nd or 3rd so you have to take that into consideration in your calculations same for the other horse eg
l like 1 - 2 - 3 to win
4 also on the second line with the top 3
5 on the 3rd line with other 4.
so it will look like this.
1-2-3 / 1-2-4/ 1-2-5/1-3-4/1-3-2/1-3-5/1-4-2/1-4-3/1-4-5
2-1-3/2-1-4/2-1-5/2-3-1/2-3-4/2-3-5/2-4-1/2-4-3/2-4-5
3-1-2/3-1-4/3-1-5/3-2-1/3-2-4/3-2-5
3-4-1/3-4-2/3-4-5.

only 1-2-3 on first line
1-2-3-4 to be placed 2nd
1-2-3-4-5-to be placed 3rd
l will do one today and post it.
to make it easier it will look like this

5-7-8
1-5-7-8
1-5-7-8-12
well do it for .25cents so spend $15.00
Jumps races are the best because of form so far.

So if horse number 4 comes first you lose 27 units:doh is this correct ?.

yes 1,2,or 3 Have to win.
What we are doing are narrowing down the ratings that we do and pick the top 3 followed by the top 4 followed by top 5.

l did not do one yesterday cause no jump races, and the ratings will start working for flat races as horses start running more.
will do one today and post it about 12.00, maybe give you more idea and watch it work.

Bye
