Connecting laptop to internet

Can anyone give me a quick idea of how to connect my laptop to the internet using my mobile as a modem (IBM Thinkpad / XdaII). No idea where to start so any help much appreciated.

Yes, you'll probably need a bluetooth adaptor on your laptop, unless the XDA has a serial cable.
