On my Betfair "Account Funds" statement it shows that I have £1.06 retained commission.
Can't find this anywhere on their help files or terms and conditions - any ideas?

Retained commission: Commission withheld in lieu of bets that have been settled ahead of the underlying market being settled.

As in the comms on any "hedged" positions?
Thanks for the super fast response!

Damned if I know what it means OFF, I'm just a cut & paster :) . No doubt one of the gurus will clear it up.

Say I back and lay the same selection to gurantee a profit, that is a hedged position. As my account funds show that profit (as it is locked in unless I make another back or lay) my guess is that the retained commission is given separately to keep the P&L in line. :)
I spent an hour looking for it on their site and couldn't find it!

In the case of the £1.06, I had 2 liabilities in 1 market: one for £400 and one for £375 (approx.)
Now, both can't lose so the retained commision is the commission on the extra £25.
Confusing myself now. :doh
