Those people who liked the Jack Johnson thread in this section are pretty sure to like this guy Jason Mraz - it's like Jack Johnson on Prozac. Very chill, but somewhat upbeat.

Songs I like so far: Summer Breeze, Curbside Prophet, I'll Do Anything.

Definitely worth more than a look. :)

Mraz is the Czech word for "snow" apparently... :fizz

Hi John,

just checked out the official website - the video for The Remedy is pretty good - especially the blonde babe with the eggs! (that'll get some interest!) His singing style is almost hip-hop / rap but more musical. Think I'll have to check out some more - pretty good, better than Jack Johnson so far I'd say.... nice one mate!

Glad you like him Campbell! I haven't checked out the video for The Remedy yet but I will do, the blonde with the eggs sounds very intriguing... dog with a bone... :icon_tong

Difficult to compare to Jack after a few more listens to his songs, as they're slightly different in many respects. Jack's music is softer and a bit punchier, and Jack's very similar to Donavon Frankenreiter.
