On the verge of buying a laptop. I've done searches and can't find any posts. Do I connect my modem to wireless router, wireless card in the laptop and ethernet card / adaptor in my PC?
I'm on afters next week and it'll be just my luck for the pro-losers to have a mare the first time I'm able to do them at work. :)
BTW, I'll be connecting to 't internet on 56k modem from work on P.A.Y.G. with Onspeed. Have I read somewhere that you can now get P.A.Y.G. GPRS connection, if so, how do I connect that to 't laptop. :) :wiggle:

PAYG is on the Vodafone Connect Card, but much cheaper with a contract.

Have a look at http://www.linksyssales.co.uk/linksys/store/isokart_listCategoriesAndProducts.asp for networking.

It's probably cheaper to just get an extra phone lead, unless your on Broadband, then you need a modem/router, Lan on the PC, and a PCMIA card for the laptop.

Thanks Keith.
Getting the laptop from AJP as per your recommendations, fantastic spec at cheap price, they're fitting the wireless card for me.
