If you are a reader, read THE SHADOW OF THE WIND by Carlos Ruiz Zafon..
Waterstone`s have it as a paperback, no one else has.
Open it and read the first3 pages in the shop.. if it hasn`t completely grabbed you by then.. it`s not for you. But it is a fantastic book.. a real, real piece of genius.

I have read this - it is a very good read......quite long though, without moving from the chair I think it is about 600 pages :yikes:

The atmospherics are good - if you like that sort of thing....

I seldom have time to read fiction books these days, as when I do have time it's either horse, poker, or space related, but I do like a good sci-fi, fantasy or horror book.
