I just discovered that you can add a Zip inside a Zip...
It compresses it further... not by much... but if you're really tight on space it can be VERY handy. :)

It's usally best to ZIP and then RAR

I often RAR after I ZIP, especially when I catch my :icon_tong

First you zip a text file then you get the 'extra' compression because you are compressing a binary file. Does not usually work for binary /binary zips.

I find that compression still works best on floppy disks. If you slide back the metal covering, and insert a screwdriver and give it a gentle twist, you'll find that the plastic disk inside can be removed and folded at least 7 times.
Try doing that with your fancy compact disks.
