Is there a clear way to tell whether the odds on betfair are going to go in so i should take the price on offer asap or out so I should set a price and hang on tight. I could have got on Idle talk about 2.5 last night but I set a greedy 3 and went to bed, woke up this morning and I've had to snatch 1.7 :(

However, with that said, I'm referring to the price change within a couple of minutes rather than from the night before to the next morning. Can I tell? :geek

You can view the current 'trend' - click on the horses name - the graph shows the market moves. But be careful, horses have a habit of drifting to their 'best price' and then getting backed to their opening values as the market settles.

The reason for the big price shift on Idle Talk was the withdrawal of Red Georgie. Even taking 2.5 last night you would have had almost 25% deductions.
