Betfair Poker Problems

Thanks to Keith, I've sorted out my Betfair problems.

I am now, however, having Betfair Poker Problems.

I have downloaded the poker,
but when I click play
it comes up

"Upgrade Assisitant cannot run twice"

The connecting word flashes at the top
but after a few seconds just stops and nothing happens!

The whe I click the x, it says that the rpogramme is not responding!

Does anyone know what the problem is.

Could it be my Tesco firewall again!

i get the same message vegy - does it have a lightning bolt pic next to it?
if so try re-instaling over the one you have now.

i also constantly get:
no active server available
failed to register C03

on the extreamly rare chance you get the poker software working, you will often find it crashes for no reason. (when you are doing well).

i have been trying to get on scince 7:00pm but to no avail.

I did eventually get it going Presto,

but it is going to be very annoying
if it happens all the time.

A bummer when it seems that is the one all the win2win forumites use :rolleyes:

i actually like it when it works - due to the lack of scandanavian players (which i find hard to play against). and i did manage to get a game this afternoon with other w2w ers, but when you can only connect 25% of the time it is a pain in the :butthead: i also missed a w2w game due to no active server.

i have deleated all cookies, temp internet files etc... today trying to get it working - but to no avail :(

It is actually your firewall that causes these problems, as it uses several network connections, and if one of these gets stopped by the firewall, your buggered.

I resolved it by unistalling the firewall. Making sure XP firewall was ON. Installing and running Betfair Poker, then reinstalling the firewall, and ensuring you allow all poker connections.

This is a "your system" problem, not a Betfair one. I still have problems with W Hill poker, but hardly used it anyway, so can't be bothered sorting out the firewall yet.

I had a nightmare last night. Server was lagging big time and it took ages for a £1 S&G, it freezes right then suddenly it plays everything that should have played in the blink of an eye to catch up, of course everyones folding without choice and the same bloke kept getting the blind winnings for some reason, plus i saw KK, AA etc being folded i was gutted, when it finally got going i got to last 2 and lost to a jammy river card....AS USUAL!!!
