I decided to buy a Coronda PST for viewing the Sun, it gives you pics like this http://www.apm-telescopes.de/images/products/coronado/pst3_sun.jpg as my CCD camera is due soon.
Including the case this is £557, so as with the CCD, I checked the price in the good old USA, and it's $559, now with an exchange rate of 1.9 that means it costs around £300!!!! Can you spot the difference? Ooo
So to save on postage & customs our US friends will be bringing it over as a 'present' :)
PS. If I ordered it direct, UK customs and the PO add on 25%!! As I'm already paying US tax on it, not sure why we should have to pay UK tax on the US tax!!
