After running the systems through excel spreadsheets I though I'd put my findings in the free section of the forum maybe to help those non members make a decision on which systems are for them, the exact kind of figures I would love to have had before blowing most of my starting bank, but c'est la vie.
Now the strange thing about these figures is they totally dont match upto the 10 year results page, but that's where Ive got them from, simply saving results in .txt form then pasting them to excel using mathare's V2.12. One conclusion I can draw is that excel mostly finds much better results than the web page has itself.
Before posting the results for every systems Im gonna firstly just put Vet Nh on here to see if people think Ive buggered my maths completely and to say so, so I can rectify things early. Here we go...last 5 yrs btw...

CLAIMED: 197/592....33%...59Lsp
EXCEL: 208/602....34%....88Lsp....LLR=14...LWR=5

Averages are made to look good by a strangely unaverage 2002.
I think Im right in saying you can calculate the % increases to see what your bank would be after 2 or 3 years. Eg you start with £100 in 2000 staking at 2%. End of 2000 would see your bank at £274 after the whole year, now going into 2001 the 2% staking % increase for that year is 38% so £274 devided by 100 multiply by the 38(%) add the £274 bank again making the bank now £378 after 2 years, Im not sure bout that maths so someone say (if theyre bothered by all this).
You can see it's pot luck as to how the system will go through each year, those 2 example years sees a naff increase but get a lucky year like 2002 and your laughing.
One thing to add, and all of this is my opinion only, it's not pure fact, before I get done for slander or something is that as regards staking %, one thing this analysis doesnt show is the statistically bad runs in the first 6 months of the year, so although the worst year here 2001 sees your bank recover from as low as £32 staking at 3% back upto £128, I would say its wise to stake to 1% or even less in until June or possibly May and then stake to 3% or 4% as the latter half of the year shows by far the best results, again just my opinion.

Essex,

I have to admit that I haven't an earthly clue as to what the above is about! That is not meant by any means as any criticism of you ...... more a criticism of my own ignorance. You've done a lot of work on this obviously and deserve mucho credit and kudo's for that ........... but if this is aimed at non-members, as you say, then sadly I reckon you will miss that target.

For instance -- VET NH ???
And then -- " 1% Max = £341! and 2% Max = £1043 .

I'm totally lost, mate.

BTW, if any Excel gurus out there could point me in the direction of a good (free) online tutor/primer for Excel, I'ld be very grateful.

Sorry should have explained it better. 1% means staking to 1% of the stated £100 bank at the start. Max is the maximum your bank reaches through the year, minimum then final

Excel is showing better results in every year more or less except for 2001, where the differences are huge! This was mad cows disease year.
Basically Im sure you can draw your own conclusions probably better than i can , so Im sure you can all see that you can back a system for 3 years and be just a few hundred % up or take info rated at 3% in 1999 through 2000 and you'd find half a million in your bank!! Pure pot luck what will happen!
To add, Im finding info rated the best system on average, fairly confident my media fc findings wont better it, we'll see :peek

Not sure what your doing, if the RSB results contain onl 569 result, then that is all their can be, as that is what it is!!

The Excel sheets supplied to members by myself, Mat, and a few others are correct, yours seem to be mathematically incorrect. I suggest you continue to learn Excel before trying to mislead people, as you have managed to do on two other forums recently.

Loads of work there Essex - well done. A probable cause of some of your variations of runners etc with RSB is that the RSB files contain a blank line between each years output, unless you remove those blank lines before importing into Mats pro-forma spreadie (and that spreadie provided by Mat really must have taken some work to develop) there is a good chance that they bugger up the results (but not by much).
I use my own spreadie for outputs from RSB and always have to remove the blank lines first before working on the data.

Only been on one other forum thanks! And if you consider telling others win2win having good profitting systems as misleading then you said it :laugh
Ive also physically counted the number of runners and come up with different figures, look at info rated year 2000, 427 runners apparently, well 427 is upto the 2nd October where theres a gap in the results, plus Ive seen other members excel sheets with the selection numbers matching mine also so im misleading no one.
Maybe YOU should sort the figures to actually match the results
