As it seems the world is on a poker buzz, why not jump on a bandwagon.
I'm pleased to say I show profit playing, as do, I think, the likes of Keith, Mathare, Oldham, Silax, markwales, Peza, Fadetoblack etc etc
I only started out playing for entertainment, now I earn a bit of beer money playing.
Start by learning the strength of starting hands (courtesy of a link from Oldham); http://www.racingwhisper.com/poker/poker.htm You dont really want to be looking lower than 25ish. Obviously, you adapt to your table/style.
Have a look at strategy, tactics & tips... http://www.win2winpoker.co.uk/
(Note: Dave Colclough is a top pro and a smart cookie to boot)
Finally, sign up on the poker forum (as its a tad quiet, think Oldhams been getting some bad beats :laugh) http://www.win2winracing.com/inv_Poker/
:D Get on the ride, good entertainment & some extra pennies if you're any good.
