When you lay a horse on Betfair and there are non runners in the race are the lay odds adjusted so you dont pay out as much you would have done if they all ran. If so can you please tell me where I can find the details on the Betfair site.

Yes the odds, stake and liability are adjusted to reflect the % of money traded on the Non Runner/s

Betfair have their own way of calculating the adjustment and I doubt anyone will ever figure it out! Not as simple as a straightforward rule 4 I'm afraid...

You put £20 stake on a lay at 6.0 and your liability is £100. If there is a non-runner whose reduction factor is 10% the odds reduce to 5.4 and your liability drops but you still stand to win £20 (minus commission of course) if the nag loses.
