BF or Odds???

I am trying to evaluate all previous results listed on this site, but I am afraid I have hit upon a personal limitation!!!

I cannot for the life of me work out how the Betfair "odds" work.

Is 2.00 the same as Evens? Or would that be 1.00...or am I just simplifying this?

there is an odd's converter in the bottom corner of betfair, that may help.
the easiest thing to do is just subtract 1 from the betfair odd's, so 11 becomes 10/1, 9 is 8/1 etc.... 2 is even's. 1.50 is 1/2.

once you get used to betfair odd's fractional odd's just seem way too old fashioned and not nearly accurate enough.
