I have made a spreadsheet to help me work out the profit / loss available onthe A+ bets, based on the results on the site.

I must have misunderstood the BF odds, because my spreadsheet shows a huge loss at £10 stakes.

Can anyone look at this formula and tell me where I have gone wrong please?

Column A is BF Odds or "L"
Column 2 is Horse Name
Column 3 is my running total formula:

=if(columnA = "L",-10,(ColumnA-1)*10)

This does seem to give me -10 for losing days, and for example +42 for a 5.2 BF.

However, if I total this column for the 281 listed results, I get an overall LOSS of £580.80p.

Is this right?

After further investigation, I see that I am showing losses on days here the BF is less than 1. Therefore subtracting the 1 is causing a problem.

Can someone tell me please:

1) if the BF is 0.4, how much do you win to £10?
2) if the BF is 1.4, how much do you win to £10?

1) £4
2) £14

The prices quoted have already had the stake (one point) DEDUCTED
