I use BT Yahoo email. When you send a card with your message on you can get confirmation that the other person has opened it. Anybody know if you can get this confirmation with an ordinary email on the BT Yahoo email please? Thanks.

Not sure about BT Yahoo but you can usually set up Outlook to request a receipt by going to Tools, Options, Receipts and ticking the box "Use this option to verify when a message has been read by the recipient". Most other email clients will have a similar arrangement.

You won't always get a receipt back though as the recipient can just as easily tick the box underneath that says "Never send a mail receipt" or by simply deleting them from their outbox before they press Send.
