my dad keep's me informed of the bargains on this site. http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=72749 (link should be ok)

- basically it is a mis-price (dell honour them)

Dell Dimension 3000
256mb memory
3.06GHZ Processeor
80GB Hard Drive
DVD/CDRW Drive
17" TFT FLatscreen Monitor

VAT and delivered for £293

read the thread through so you know what you are doing!

there are even more savings to be had though. as i got that computer, and my dad got a laptop (advertised £600) - for the total price of £604 :yikes:

That price is correct :doh

The DVD is £25, TFT £80, Memory £15, 80GB £40, Motherboard £20, Graphics £30.....

Yep, my sister in law got a similar spec machine from them recently for £271 - and that was the advertised price, not a mistake.

I can get a new laptop for £399, but at those prices it's basic graphics, you need to spend £800+ for a decent one.

i got mine for £235. and with a 17" TFT - that aint bad
