Some sports betting includes 'overtime'. Can somebody explain this please and is it better to bet with or without the 'overtime'.

If it's American football or Baseball then it (i think) is always included as it's used to seperate ties, there are no draws in baseball and american football is only a draw in the regular season after one period of overtime (15 mins) is played. I'm pretty certain basketball is the same but I don't follow that so couldn't say for certain.

I thought it was to do with when the game ended officially! Some bets will say the score before overtime is the oficial score. So you can bet on who won BEFORE overtime started or you can bet on the winner of the game after overtime has been played.
