question about Greyhounds

I dont know too much about Greyhounds, but I often back the odd one. I notice the RP pages call them 'bags' :doh

i.e. 'romford bags' or 'nottingham bags' or whatever.

what does 'bags' mean??

worth mentioning this is opposed to the evening greyhound racing (and also non-bags afternoon racing).....

The bottom line is that certain tracks are bags tracks - and this not only affects the kinds of bets you can place, limits etc.......but are essentially the greyhound meetings which are covered by the bookmakers and SIS in the betting shops etc.....
