Just noticed that google have stepped up their plans to take on microsoft and have released phase one free.

Go to google , search for 'google pack' and take the free download ... might be useful for some people and a hinderence to others, but may be worth trying.

Looks like most of it is just google stuff that you could have got before, but now in a bundle..

Norton Antivirus 2005 Special Edition (Includes 6-month subscription to protection updates)

All in all, not a bad package I suppose, since you're getting Norton AV 2005 with a 6 month subscription, that you can uninstall when your time is up.
