Excel prob

I got my excel from an p2p, so I'm wondering if it could have something wrong with it. Basically, I've tried mathare's staking plans v2.12 thing and tried a few others who have helped out, but what's happening is they're calculating seemingly ok to start with, then when I've finished I either save what I've done or don't bother, and when opening the spread again as standard as I received it, to then try different results, the calculations are going completely boobs up. Could it be my own actual office is corrupt?

If you have any Random calculations in there, the values will be different each time you open it!

Not very clued up in excel so don't quite get what you mean. Does this mean I can't save the changes I make so as to keep the original normal, or do I need to save a different way?
