First 3 last time out

A system I use that works reasonably well to back horses that were in the first 3 last time out, providing there are 2 or less other horses also in the first three last time out. Only bet if there are eight or more runners and if the horse finished within 3 lengths of the winner(flat) or 10 lengths of the winner (jumps)
If more than one qualifier back the one nearest to the winner last time out.

Have you got any past records to show your success rate so far for this system? Sounds like a good way to choose your horses.
