It's as safe as downloading any other file from the internet. Virus scan it and it's contents when you unzip it.

No, I wasn`t clear, sorry.. I mean I need to download winzip in order to open a zipped file. So I`m best to go to winzip and download a trial ? :hearty

Download from the winzip site and make sure you scan the zip file before unzipping and scan the files after unzipping (just to be on the safe side)!
