In my mouse.

I've had this trouble before, but sometimes it just cures itself.

That ball is getting all stuck and I have to keep shifting
the mouse to get across the screen.

I took the ball out earlier and gave it a clean, but it's still a bit stucky.

Is there a way to ease the ball going round, or should I just steal the
laser guided one I have in work? :)

Vegy, did you clean the little rollers inside the mouse as well? Paper clip works for that.

Try and get yourself a bargain like I managed to at GAME. :D

Two optical, wireless mice, both identical, sat on the shelf... one with a sticker on for £9.99 and one with a sticker on for £19.99... you can guess which one I took to the checkout. "That's £19.99 please." (Expected that to happen :D) I gave the guy a puzzled look, pointed to the sticker and said "But it says £9.99." "OK we'll knock off the £10."

Job done. Out the store. Whooooosh. :D

Vegy, get yourself at least an optical mouse. Wireless if you're bothered about wires getting in the way. And be sure to clean the pads at the bottom regularly because they clog with dust and dirt.

My roller bar thingy's look like if I try and clean them, they are going to fall to pieces! :yikes:

The rubber looks like it's all about to peel off!

I had a trackball one a couple of years ago, did my finger in after a while.

:doh You use a finger on any mouse!! Strange boy. You do not get repetitive strain injuries from track balls.

Moving the trackball with my finger I meant. After a few months I started to get a pain at the knuckle. Us Southerners are delicate you see :D
