Does anyone have a quick way of doing this. At the moment I go through the runners index on racing post website but due to the number of horses i am following it can take a lot of time.

Does anyone know of any spreadsheet or database i could use to match my runners with the index each day or has anyone any quick ideas.

I just write my own code. You can download VB for free.

If you are experienced at doing that type of coding that is fine. I am just looking for some way to make it quicker. i have tried copying and pasting the runner index to excel but how do you match them up.

I have no experience in using Visual basic . So where would i start.

Dummies for VBA

But sites like gg.com and Sporting Life do horse watchers that alert you via e-mail when one of your chosen nags is set to run

is this a free service from the website and when do you get the email.

GG.com is free and you get the mail the day before at the 24 hour declaration stage.

Sporting Life's service you pay for so I've never used it

I use the one from sporting life costs very little and you control the alerts, to email previous day and to your mobile 8am on the day

Maybe Mat could write some VBA for Excel for you, he just slouches around all day :peekyThat's not far from the truth but Mat is writing lots of other VBA at the minute, some of which is actually work related too :yikes:
