what do you professional betters do at the end of the day when you have lost money or not made enough and need some more? I was amazed people were professional betters when i first heard about it!

Simple - accept it and move on. The minute you start 'chasing', the serious problems start!
I'm not a full-time pro like some on here but I do supplement my income. Treat gambling as a business and there is far more chance of being successful.

Not sure that you mean "at the end of the day" literally mate, but if you do I'm sure that it isn't a daily matter for the professionals - it's monthly, quarterly, annually and they wouldn't be doing it if they weren't in profit long term.
That said, I think Keith supplements his bad days by selling his :butthead: to Vegy.
(Oh dear. Am I banned?) :peeky

I don't lose money! I know near enough how much % I will make over a year, results on a day to day basis are irrelevant.

i try and not let a days results get to me (sometimes they do - i admit it) - but winning day, break even, big loss - it's just another day at the office.

Its like a business really. Im sure some businesses have slack periods and weeks where they dont make money but if they have a business plan and a yearly budget that is all factored in. What they dont do (if they are proper business people) is change all their strategy and thinking when the going is tough. Get the basics in place first and then if changes are needed they will be subtle and more like tuning rather than ripping up the canvass everytime things are rocky.

If you are a pro gambler, do you pay yourself monthly? Do you set yourself an annual wage? Or do you just withdraw funds as and when you need the cash?

I seldom touch my money. Just take out bits here & there, usually for a holiday.

Well, its a lot more exciting than looking at my share portfolio (+0.2%, -0.3%....yawn).
No rush, no point, my job pays more, always will, so gambling is really just (very profitable) fun.
