I went to see my doctor the other day.
I'm not in the best of shape and had been getting
twinges in the chest area.
After a thorough examination, the doctor tutted and shook his head.
I immediately felt worried and asked him what he had found!
"It's not good" he replied.
"There's no kind way of saying this, but you are obese!
It's not right for your body, you HAVE to do something abouot it and now"
He then explained to me the possible outcomes if I didn't change
and drew up a diet plan with references for further reading.
He comforted me, but said that I had to make changes!
He said he hoped that I heeded the information and advice he had given me and said he believed and hoped that I would soon start to lose weight.
Although startled by his frankness, I was touched by his kindness and thoughtfulness.
I thanked him and told him that I had taken all that he had said on board and that he didn't need to worry about me!
Upon which he replied. "I'm not worried about you. I'm just worried about having to fit in to my busy day 6 pullbearers with chronic back problems!"
Ooo
