Bet 1

£702.44 @ 2.18
£797.56 @ 1.92

Profit of £31.32 if either wins

Bet 2

£1139.70 @ 2.22
£1360.20 @ 1.86

Profit of £30.15 if either wins

That's according to the dutching calc on Oddschecker and round numbers have been used in the first case to make life easier (total stake is £1500)

Those stakes sound very high to me, now I think about it. Risking £1500 and £2500 for a £30 profit. :doh

£700 @ 2.2 returns £1540, profit of £840. You lose £800 on the bet at 1.92. No, that sounds about right then.

On second thoughts, this would not be a good bet. I think both bets would definitely win, but it would tie all the bank up until after the group stages.

If anyone was interested the bet would have been.....

Both to win their group:

MEXICO 2.18
PORTUGAL 1.92

and to win their group:

CZECH REPUBLIC 2.22
ITALY 1.86

You'd be better off with smaller group forecast bets if you can still get them on Andy. Dutch Portugal-Mexico and Mexico-Portugal, for example

Dunno, I know Bet365 were doing it but not sure if they are still doing it now the tourney has kicked off.

Just checked and Betfair are doing group forecasts.

Mexico - Portugal is 2.42
Portugal - Mexico is 2.04
