Just clicked on the main site and it seems to have been hacked by a "amfibi-slayer, warrior one turk" no main site available.

Nah, it's a common game played by Turkish script kiddies. Shouldn't be too much of a problem for Keith - he'll have back-up files and his ISP should be able to restore it to a previous state too. Probably best to go to the ISP first so they can trace his path through their network....then ask them a few pertinent questions about their own security along with a few hints that you might be considering moving elsewhere.

As you can probably tell I know next to nothing about computers and the like.

Glos - It's my own server :) Had the Filipino Forum hacked a few weeks back, but that was a CMOD problem due to the instructions Invision gave me.

I'll have to download the server and scan it.

Yep mines hacked too, some nerd called Vegy making lots of inane postings and bad jokes all over the place......does he have nothing else to do in Turkey but hack peoples web sites and make 15,738 posts ??? :D

Everything appears hunky-dory now though - refreshed my caches and it's back to normal. It could be an individual with a grudge if they're picking on your sites - easiest way to tell is to see if and when it happens again. Probably just some script somewhere.

As for Vegy, all I can say is......Serbia & Montenegro seem to have been playing for a very long time!!
