Transfering internet

Hi guys , i got my new comp yesterday and want to put my internet on to it however i can't find the disc , can i just transfer the files via memory stick and put them in to the same location on my new machine or will this not work thanks

Copying the files won't work as the installlation procedure will do clever unseen things like edit your registry (maybe) and other settings. You need to get hold of another copy of the installation utility

Who's your ISP? And are you broadband or dial-up?

Found a copy ! downstairs amongst the cd's so am away with the job now , relieved because ook a day off work today specifically to do a load of system work and need the internet on this new comp .
