Could someone explain what ROI is please and how you calculate it ?
I have seen it in a number of calculations of profit/loss and would like to be able to use it.

Return On Investment
it is the profit compared to the total staked:
i,e,
£100 staked @ 1.10 - WIN £10 - would be a 10%ROI
£100 staked @ eve - WIN £100 - would be a 100% ROI
to calculate it
profit / stake - (if using excel, set cell to %)

What difference does it make if you're staking at 1.10pm compared to evening? :doh

I think it must be to do with the law of supply and demand PS ... there would be more people staking at 1.10 pm, so you would win less ... and less people staking in the evenings, especially now there is no evening racing, so you would win more :D
