Snap Sparky I also got it at 13.5. This horse had the same or similar hurdle rating as the top 2 in the weights, liked the going and was obviously extremely well weighted in the race and i thought it was the value on hurdle form. Obviously jumped a lot better today.

Hope you had some cash on for a win and didnt just back it for a place.There is nothing better than getting a big priced winner. there is some great value out there if you can get it. Some bigger SP winners usely give big prices on betfair it seems to be that the bigger the price the wider the margin between the prices. I had a winner at 40/1 on betfair 2 weeks ago and it returned at 12/1.Whereas the margin of favourites can be slight.I dont do golden lay either if I already have picked out the same horse. But the Golden lay is fantastic overall.

Sparky, i had 21.0 on the win and 6.0 place. Yeh Ha!

It ran in the Aintree Bumper last year behind some good sorts. Had a bad run 1st time this year but new it would be better for that outing.This was a Class 4 and was capable and held in high regard by trainer. Stable (in form)has also had a couple of winners and a few in the frame in the last week.

Thanks for all the interest in my daily selections. If I had time i would put down reasons why I am selecting the horses that I do but for now just let the selections do the talking.

This thread has helped me focus on what type of horses I have backed and has also led to me doing a lot of more studying of form and information from various sources e.g what a trainer has said about individual horses, trends, newspaper snippets, keeping good notes on horses that have stood out for me in previous races.

e.g. Leslingtaylor was the only horse in race with any real hurdle form in the bag.He jumped well in his first outing and his trainers has recent good form. I believe this is a progressive sort and can improve again from this impressive win.

When I back horses I have always stuck to the rule of backing 16/1 shots and over each way or win and place on betfair. Today got Investment Wings@15.0 for a place on betfair almost double the SP price for each way unbelievable.

Always good to get feedback. I always meant to put comment/reason for selection but due to time just post selection. I hope you are both getting some nice winners.Seems to be a lot of good selections posted throughout this website and nice to know thread is being followed. Hope to select many more winners. May get round to explaining my methods one day. I probably follow trainers more than horses an try to pick up snippets about what they may have said about particular horses and keep notes. i also use a lot of wonderful resources found on the net. Just didn't have all this information a few years back. Not a great one for ratings.

6 out of 7 since Sunday. Hopefully this will keep going.
