As most of you know, my wife gave birth to our first child 7 weeks ago, and ever since, it's been constant crying from Harry, with seemingly nothing able to calm him down.
Today we took delivery of a DVD entitled 'The Happiest Baby On The Block'. HALLELUIAH!!!
The wife has gone out this evening, and of course Harry was crying for England, so I stuck this DVD on, and after watching the calming technique in the film, and then using it on Harry, he stopped crying and fell asleep within 30 seconds!!!
Millions of people swear by the techniques, and I only wish we'd known about the DVD sooner.
This is pure gold for upcoming parents.... Buy it before the birth, and you'll have no worries*. It works for babies from birth to 3 months old.
Highly recommended.
*I take no responsibility for anyone buying this is it doesn't work :D

Evidently there's also a happiest toddler on the block (1-4yrs) in book form that I might just have to purchase... Thanks for the tip!

Been really fortunate with our 2 (or maybe we're fantastic parents :laugh )
Both have been largely happ and content babies. Always smiling,
and never really any crying or sleeping problems!
Only time we have any moaning is when they have a pooey bum,
want a bottle, or when I chuck a huge vat of boiling water over them. Oops :peeky

Yeah. I still moan when that happens.

Did you say oops because this was almost the most normal post that you had ever made and then you spoiled it right at the end??!!:wink

Well, it was normal.
My son did once spill a pot of boiling hot water over his hand that I had left on the floor to warm his bottle!
Thanks to some quick thinking, and keeping his hand under cold running water, he was left with no ill effects!
But we were interrogated as if we had halmed him on purpose at the hospital!
Really horrible, but I suppose they have to be sure these things were accidents!
