My computer has started making loud clicking noises
It only seems to do it when it is first switched on for maybe 1/2 hr
But it does not do it all the time
any thing to worry about.

sounds like a switch going and it often does it twice as if it turns off then back on straight away, but it does not effect the computer operation

They say that when you hear a ticking noise from your computer it can mean that it's dying. Hopefully that's not the case Micky. TOW or Glos should be along to give ya some more detailed advice soon.

If you read the PC advice section, you will know not to listen to me, so this may be a rather silly suggestion:
Is it coming from your speakers? The betfair screen will make the click noise when refreshing (the same noise as when you click to open something)

They say that when you hear a ticking noise from your computer it can mean that it's dying.
Or it could just be that you're getting electric shocks off the keyboard. :D
Did you resolve that by the way?

Probably.....take the side panel off....and discover where it is coming from before it fails. If it's a fan....you'd better keep a bucket of sand handy!!
