Is there any way to cut and paste from a spreadsheet to the forum which will keep the layout of the spreadsheet? (eg. blue font, spacing etc.)

Is there any way to cut and paste from a spreadsheet to the forum which will keep the layout of the spreadsheet? (eg. blue font, spacing etc.)I have a macro that creates HTML tables for all the stuff I post from spreadsheets. Mark did post a link to an Excel add-in some time ago that might be able to help you but I'm not 100% sure. I downloaded it but never used it as I already had code to do what I wanted.

Wayne, just going to try posting something below, I vaguely recall doing it once on here

if it's in colour it worked :laugh
If so I'll post below what I did

It's simply to tidy some things up. For example, the qualifiers for my £1000 challenge. Normally, I re-type everything, which can be time consuming. It would be much easier to cut and paste from betfair (I do the bets in real life)
A simple cut and paste leaves a bad layout:
GB / Ling 10th Jan / 16:00 1m2f Hcap Atlantic Quest Lay 8.6 Not Settled
GB / Ling 10th Jan / 13:30 6f Hcap Whos Winning Lay 8.6 Not Settled
GB / Winc 10th Jan / 16:10 2m6f Nov Hrd Nougat De LIsle Lay 7.2 Not Settled
GB / Winc 10th Jan / 15:40 2m Hcap Chs Sunley Shines Lay 4.9 Not Settled
GB / Winc 10th Jan / 14:40 2m5f Nov Chs Opera De Coeur Lay 2.62 Not Settled
Even if I could have the Horse name in colour, and the price bold, I would be happy enough. I don't want to have to go and do it on each one though, as there are a lot of qualifiers some days.
Not a big deal, but it would make my posts neater.

I think (and don't quote me on this one) that there can be differences in what is displayed based on how you post. For example the same information posted into the start of a new thread may not display the same as if posted in as a quick reply to a post in an existing thread which in turn may not display the same as doing a full reply using the Post Reply button.
A quick bit of VBA could probably help you though Wayne. After all you're only after adding in opening and closing forum tags round the horses name and price. I could be able to help you out if that's the best way forward for you

Yeah, all I need to do is add tags. In the above post, I simply copied and pasted the opening blue tag to the left of the column displaying the horse name, and then copied the closing blue tag into the column to the right.

One time consuming alternative would be to just take a screenshot and save it out as a low quality GIF... then insert the image into your post.
