Well you know.....that's usually the plan...
But tonight
4 on taylor to win 8-0
4 on barney to do the same
4 on lloyd to win 8-5
presto
1st February 2007, 20:39
not sure about the 8-0's, the PL is leg's not set's - so for an 8-0 that would mean 4 breaks of throws :yikes:

Ah yeah, the 8-0s are a near impossible ask. I only do those bets in case they happen...(makes no sense does it...)

lloyd continues to :censored: up.

presto
2nd February 2007, 00:08
taylor gets the draw - played pretty crap by his standards.

I fancy a cheeky punt on Manley in some awesome form at master of darts last week although got hammered in final against an awesome Barney and Taylor still finding his feet with the numerous changes he's made. If gets off to a quick start!

People keep backing against Priestly and he keeps answering...
On this form how can he be bet against?
ocaz

He is an old work horse my fav for year since started watching darts in the early 90's and to think a couple of years ago he was considering jacking it in:splapme

lewis has also looked good though. but preistly is on one hell of a roll right now.

Lewis hasn't impressed me at all. When he's playing well he builds on it but if things are not going his way he just crumbles. Hasn't a great temperament.

I remember at UK open last year when he got beat by John Magowan i spoke to Lewis afterwards as once John had got on top of him he was talking to himself, clapping when picking his darts after scoring scores like 45 etc.
I asked him why he did it as it looked like it effected his game negatively and he said it was some thing he had to do to gee himself up.
Though he was doing the same tonight - the clapping at crap scores and also complaining about the noise. If he is leading he is full of confidence and a natural thrower.
Things is he is still only 21 he will be a great player in a few years.
p.s. looks like Taylor is regaining his form in time for the barney showdown next week which i'm off to - can't wait!

LEWIS vs scholten 1.79
PREISTLEY vs lloyd 2.46
JRNKINS vs manley 1.76 (though manley dosn't look bad @ 3.5+)
the lewis and preistley look good bets, preistley deffinate value at the odd's but lloyd is getting into better form in the PL. i think jenkins is the bet in that game (especially after last week) , but the 3.5 on manley also not bad at the odd's (if he plays his best). taylor barney i can't split - though, what was all the fuss with barney being FAV? according to betfair - barney 2.5 taylor 2.22 :doh - i make taylor the fav there and betfair isn't often wrong. on form barney is the bet - but taylor is improving with his new darts, so a no bet.

Terry Jenkins v Dennis Priestley
Adrian Lewis v Raymond van Barneveld
Colin Lloyd v Peter Manley
Roland Scholten v Phil Taylor
only betting on taylor and barney.
jenkins and lloyd i fancy to win, however i would not be prepared to back them at odd's on, so saying that preistley and manley look the value bets - both available @ 2/1+ which IMO is rather generous.

Had jenkins in a treble with Barney and Lloyd, thought both players were poor to be honest.
As for Lewis, he's just a muppet and is so out of his depth here that it's embarrassing.

Think Lewis is going to be another player with loads of talent but is trying his best to throw it away:ermmm
Lloyd is looking like getting back to his best.

I hope the crowd treat Lewis a little better tonight. I know he a bit of a cocky arrogant sod but he should at least be aloud to play his game without being heckled and booed by the crowd ::swear ::swear If they have to boo do it before and after like they do Manley.

Lewis was better behaved tonight and got a bit of respect from the crowd. Maybe he might just be learning after 10 weeks:yikes:
