hello everybody i havent been realy around for a few weeks my grandad became very ill and passed away last weekend .
it was an amazing funeral in glenbeigh co kerry we had the army give him a send off an everything the man was 96 and strong as an ox.:)
anyway my nan is still going strong an she is 95 what a woman she took everything realy well to an extent jesues they were married 73 years. any way just been browseing through the forum i see i missed a nice few tips from the members any way my bank stands at 450.00 i had a lovely each way bet on hardy eustace at 9/1 on sunday cause my grandad would say hardy useless so my uncle said we have to back him :Helooo ............ hmmmm sorry.

while i was viewing the forum i see this guy godspot has some ideas i not quiet sure from the threads though if he is liked here or if he is an .... u know but i see some of the horses he has selected are quiet intresting the thing is the threads are muddled up to me and are like posts from over a month ago is there a way of sorting out that mess so i can understand where he started etc . i hope i make some sense.

Here's to your granddad as for godspot until he gives LSP to his threads then who knows the guy needs to concentrate more on the selections and less on the reasons.

But I continue learning"

LSP = level stakes profit....

Sounds like your grandad had a hell of a send off.... as only the Irish know how!

Don't worry about not understanding Godspot's threads... we reckon the only person who does is himself. I think they're written in some sort of code... maybe it's horse code but I'll be dot dot dashed if I can figure it out... :wink

Sorry Racehorse,

I just wrote a nice long reply about Grandparents, confusing threads etc. & then went & lost it, I haven't got a lot of time right now but I finished it off with, "I think you just summed me up in your last three words above, 'Crazy but nice.' Any questions? Feel free to ask.

hey guys a couple of questions . i backed picador the other day he was again heavily punted then something went a miss surely prescot knew this horse wasnt right why then did he run him like did he not give the horse a sin before the meeting to make sure he was ok ... the second is this is there a way of checking each day the race cards and finding out what horses are entered for cheltenham because i just noticed some of the horses that have run lately and won like judge roy bean the other day are also entered in big races at cheltenham maybe we are missing out on potential winners that are getting prep runs which there trainers fancy for a good run at cheltenham and we dont know it. does all this make sense.

Hi there

If you click on a horses name on the racing post website when looking at a card, it will bring up the horses form in a pop up window. One of the options in that window is "Entries". If you click on that it will tell you all the races that the horse is engaged in.

Hope that helps

does all this make sense.No, but when does that stop anyone around here? :D

the second is this is there a way of checking each day the race cards and finding out what horses are entered for cheltenhamIf you click on the horses in the Sporting Life cards and bring up their individual page then in the top right select View Future Engagements you can see which future races the horses have been entered for. Of course horses may be being aimed for Cheltenham and not entered yet. And the Racign Post site allows something similar but I hate that site and can't be bothered to go there and find out how to get the information you're after
