Very strange place, pity it's closed to the general public, unless you find the caretaker in the area.....area!!! It's miles of nothing!!!
These geysers are man made, they dug down for a bore hole in 1967, but the pressure was too much, and they've been pumping ever since. Built up mineral deposits from the hot water. You can see the size of them next to the trucks taking water for irrigation. The wonderful colours are from algae that only lives in hot mineral water.
