Reasons for bet:

Really the only worry i had for this game was the result for the away team when these two played before. But Dundalk need this result badly to keep their title challenge going and are in a rich vein of form at home - 5 straight clean sheets, freescoring etc. Really strong bet.

I’ve just had a wee look at my Scottish Division 3 Sheet? and I’m not so sure about taking Montrose to win tonight. My sheet has this game down as home win, but Montrose have one of their forwards out injured. I know Elgin-C had a very poor start to season, but they haven’t lost in their last 4 games and managed to score 15 goals.

I would think a bet on over 2.5 goals would be a better option in this game.

Correct, they have a few players out due to disciplinary and injury reasons ....

This is not one of the targeted win games (see my post of last week)…However, Nautico don’t owe me anything this season……and I wont leave them go at 7.00 without having something on….especially away where they can produce shocks…and indeed have already won 3 times this season at tasty odds…

what do you reckon to the oxford game today merlin?

we are well short of strikers, 17 year old loanee and yemi odubade are expected to start with a youth team striker on the bench

we are missing our right wing back and will play a centre half there

looks like we will miss one of our central midfielders, and a 19 year old loanee from qpr will go straight into the team

as well as missing so many attacking players our team looks knackered and lacking in belief

however, and this is probably stupid, but we often go 3 games without a win, but rarely 4.

farsley have won at home against the whipping boys, but lost to exeter and drew with poor travellers salisbury and ebbsfleet.

2.75 for the home win and 2.5 for the away

Its much better than previous versions, its tough to score and you need to pass it about and work space rather than just do messi dribbles constantly. It is a bit slower and vaguer than pes though which takes a bit of getting used to. Graphics and atmosphere are head and shoulders above pes though and it has the third person be a pro mode so its good fun.

The gap is reducing every year as fifa gets better and konami get lazier.

btw, similar to the Fifa08 experiment, I used FM08 to "model" last nights game between cottbus and duisburg.

Predicted score was 2-0 cottbus.
Actual score was 2-1 duisburg

CONCLUSION: I will not be using FM08 for betting purposes :D

Yeah...too quick, I used to be good in FM series...Gameplay is a bit changed in this one, including annoying skin...I was 18-th when they sacked me. British leagues are my favorite and I love teams with some challenges...Sometimes FA piss me off when they don't wanna give a work permit to excellent players...
