MS word

Before I installed MS Word on my pc, I used 'word viewer' to open word files. I set this as the default (Can't remember how I did this).

Now that I have word, I'd to change use it as the default.

word viewer is a read only program, so I need to change the default to the regualr ms word.

Any ideas how to do it?

Try this wb. Find a file that you would like MS Word to open as default and right click on it.

Select Open With

Then Choose Default Program

Then select MS Word and make sure the box at the bottom that says Always use the selected program to open this kind of file is ticked.

That is how you do it on Vista and i am pretty sure it is the same for XP.

Failing that go into control panels and go to the Default Program bit.
