Evenstephen's Place System - Trial

I've been working on a system during October & November which has had a good strike rate so far although the final SPs of the horses have been between 1/10 and 11/2. Anyway this is a trial and although this has worked on paper it gives me a chance to tweak things online. There is only one selection per day and I'll keep you posted on the progress. Do NOT back these selections just yet. :wink

Tuesday's Selection:

A nice 28p profit to start off with after tax for a £2 minimum Betfair stake, two more of these and I can treat myself to a nice cup of tea :laugh

So far for the last 30 days I looked at this method it has been nothing short of fantastic on the flat/all-weather but appears to fall short on the jumps so I'll be looking to tighten up on that so there's no selection for Sunday.

Was a big let down. I got just under 7/4, and was already celebrating, then I remembered it still had to go out and win:D

Something obviously went wrong with it, so it wasn't your selection process at fault as I backed it as well (insert huge ego here):laugh Just kidding.

Good to see a place system on here as this is what first got me into backing horses as I hated long losing runs, so good luck:thumbs

Thank you very much for the words of support, I've been practicing with this method for over a month and it's been something over 90% successful but that's been on the flat and all-weather (with the exception of evening meetings for some reason).

Petitjean was backed as though defeat was out of the question but as you said something was probably wrong with the run and there's not a lot you can do when that happens.

Nevertika won at 5/4f although was slightly fortunate as a couple of his rivals fell when well placed.

Conditions at Doncaster were too bad as they were at Musselburgh on Sunday with the intended selection there. More freezing weather imminent though.

Mister McGoldrick only just finished out the placings beaten into 4th place at 3/1jf. I realised the system I was using wasn't working as well on the Jumps as it appeared to do on the Flat during the final month of the turf season so I've done a bit of fine tuning and hoping this will work better now, so far the results have been encouraging.
