Can't edit images

Not sure what I've done :splapme

When I open a picture for editing, it prompts me to find a program. (there are none there). It used to open in some sort of microsoft program and I could edit from there.

I did a clean up a few weeks back and deleted loads of stuff I don't use, so I hope I did not delete that!

I don't want to do a system restore as I've made a few changes recently that I wish to keep.

Is there any way of getting the program that edits images back, or are there any free ones that are just as good?

Just right click on the pic in the directory and use OPEN WITH.....

Select the Microsoft Viewer & tick the box to always use that one.

Thanks Keith, unfortunately there's no 'Microsoft viewer' option. I must have deleted that program somehow :(

Try Open With.. Paint - that is usually the default editor and is an 'accessory' which has to be removed (not uninstalled) so it is more likely to still be on your system.
