Yes, it's Tingle Creek Dat this Saturday. This prestigeous race,
won for the last two years by the pragmatic Kauto Star, and for the
two years before that, by the popular character Moscow Flyer.
Paul Nicholl schases a hat-trick in this race, with two entries. Hoo Laa Baloo,
who finished well down the pack last year and Tingle Creek first timer
Twist Magic ridden by the in form Sam Thomas looking for a third
sensational weekend in his young career.
The one to beat is undoubtedly Voy Por Ustedes. Favourites go well in this
race and with a lot of early support, Voy Por may yet go off odds on fave
in this race. Finishing second to Kauto Star last year, Alan King will be hoping
he can go one better with Kauto out of the way.
His main challenger in the betting is Monet's Garden, who managed to pull off
the surprise upset of Kauto Star on their seasonal debut's back in October.
However, based on past form, Monet has something to find with Voy Por.
However, I shall be tipping Paul Nicholls to once again to produce one too
good in his Twist Magic. He has imporved immensely in the last 2 seasons.
He would surely have gone close in the Arkle at Cjeltenham but for falling
at the second last when losing his footing. He has had a comfortable
opener to this season and I think he may prove to be a useful Chaser.
Currently available at 5-1, Twist Magic is the bet for me.
