If you're a fully paid up member, you have to email Keith at the address on the top of the members page and he'll activate your full forum status jobby. I think that's the case.

You should have been sent a welcome e-mail and instructions on how to get the best out of stuff. I think. But I see the boss is looking in as I type so he'll be able to tell you what really happens rather than me making it up as I go along :)
