What Jonny said is probably is not far from the truth, it's a way of keeping more players 'happy'.

I wonder how far away the rugby format of allowing players to be brought on and off is?

One day we'll have the American Football idea and we'll bring on players to defend corners and free kicks and a special teams unit for attacking corners and free kicks :ermmm
