When I was ickle, (well, all the way up till I left home at 20 :D )
we used to have a blue paper light shade in the bedroom.

I was going to get one for the boys bedroom, but these don't seem
to be as rife in shops as I imagined they would be. I've seen some
but not at any reputable companies, and mainly just plain white ones.

Anyone know where I'd be able to find some?

Try Woolworths or Wilkinsons. The latter may be your best bet.

I have a blue wavey one in my study at home

Thaks Susan, that's teriffic.

By the way, in the local drinking establishment where I work, they have some displays with all the local theathre productions. They had Woman In Black at the back, so I moved them to the front!

Have I missed something here?
Have you got a job in your local pub?
Or is it the pub, that is local to your place of work?:)

Gosh, thanks Vegy, join the team.. I have peeps all over the country moving my books to the front in shop displays, moving leaflets about the play in front of all those others....
Hope you get a lampshade for the boys.. when I was a student we went through a phase of having an orangey one - it made us all look, well, orange.
