The guy ran on to the runway and dumped two rucksacks, which have been subject to controlled explosions. The guy was "tackled". Why the :censored: wasn't he shot? There are enough armed police in an airport to put one in his leg and stop him running too far. No need to kill him - he obviously needs to be interrogated and then released on huge benefits while his lawyers claim millions in legal aid :rolleyes: - but you can slow him down a bit surely.

Have you seen the fences around airports? Easy to get through, especially in the dark. We need proper security fencing as they do around the US prisons. Two lines of steel fencing around 20ft high with razor wire. Electric fence between them with movement sensors and cameras.......but of course, we'll wait until a plane is blown up on the runway before doing that :splapme
