...always learning!
I'm forty years old and fell in love with horse racing with a horse called Eastern Oasis in the 'eighties who always seemed to win me money. Funny thing memory - very selective!
I've developed a few very nice systems over the years which help supplement my income, but I'm by no means a big punter. Just like to try to find new ways to pick horses.
I enjoy a pint or three and the open air, am married with two kids and a labrador, so life is pretty busy.
I hope to prove to be a useful member to the site and to learn from other members too.
Thanks for reading,
MT

Blimey! You've got a long memory!
Thanks for the welcome one and all.
My labrador is a black nutcase - only a year old. We had another who lived to nearly 14 when we had to have him put down. Great dogs.
Bishops Finger! Wasn't he up in court for that? :yikes:
Seriously - a lovely drop. London Pride too.
Now about racing...
Is there a thread where we can place our tips?

If they're system based, there's a section specially set up but if you just want to post a few selections most people find the Fun Bets section the ideal place.

We had a chocolate labrador who we had to put down after 7 years. Friendliest dog ever, although he was about 99 pennies short of a pound in terms of intelligence!
Now we have a black lab too, who we got from a rescue home at the age of 4... he's 6 now, 7 this year. Don't see him much though, only when I go home to my 'rent's.
Great dogs. :D

I must have too because I didn't know you weren't still a regular contributor on OLBG. Mind you, I can't stand all the teenagers arguing and swapping (I won £4k today) stories so I stay here most of the time with the educated and informed (or in Vegy's case, barking and should be restrained).

I think this must be a different chap. I was an active member of several forums a few years back - even ran my own pretty successful tipster service up until the Foot & Mouth outbreak.
There are a lot of forums on the 'net that are like lunatic asylums! This one seems a little more sane...
