I normally put a few quid on this race for the missus as a birthday present (her birthday is tomorrow). This year I am going for small e/w stakes on:

Comply Or Die
Simon
Slim Pickings
Butler's Cabin
Baily Breeze

It a flippin closely handicapped race this year :yikes: Whatever happened to 30 of them being 3 stone out of the handicap?

I reckon they've got the market all wrong for this race, but finding an edge.....I don't even know where to start :ooo

...actually best bet of the day is for the starter to cock it up and again, and make British racing look like a Zimbabwian President!!

I thought the starter did very well actually.

I got 1st, 4th and 8th for the missus so not at all bad

I'm pretty pleased with my result. Made a £10 profit in the end, which was nice considering it was my first bet in 18 months. Good times. Well done to all those who made a profit! :)

On a side note whatever happened to Chelsea Harbour? Was up there with the big boys up until about 3/4 the way there and then just lost it completely and I think he/she got pulled up...
