They haven`t had time to settle my bet yet, Victor Chandler are obviously still empyting the small change out of their pockets but if anyone can tell me what I won I`d be glad.
I had 100 on Comply or DIE ante-p at 18-1.. I can do that sum. But I also had a £50 AP win treble on Al Eile, at 9- 1 Comply or Die at 18-1 and Forest Pennant at 8-1.
I think it`s looking good. As this meeting is usually a disaster for me I`m rather pleased. I also had Binocular at 16-1 AP :hearty

I had one back in '96 before I was a Pro, 9/1, 8/1 & 4/1 @ £25, think it was about a years wage back then :yikes:
It was also with a small bookmaker, and took a solicitors letter to get the payment out of them.

I've had one Jackpot up in my life, £1,200 at Chester in '91, cost me 50p :)
However, I hadn't done a Placepot all year so done one at Aintree yesterday.....5 in the first race.....and it went down quicker than a politicians rent boy :headbange

Crikey moses !!! I didn`t post them because I didn`t think to and also I don`t usually as I hate looking a total idiot and everyone winding me up more than usual.Plus, although I sometimes do quite well with singles here and there, my multiple bets usually hit the ground at the first horse. I had a 50 treble on each of the first 2 days of Aintree and they did just that. Lost at the first.
Pint on way for Big C. Mind it might spill a drop or two en route.. but I know Big C won`t mind.
I didn`t even follow the races yesterday as I was launching my new children`s book and even forgot to ask someone what had won the GN, my mind being on higher things. :happyboun

anyone like a copy of my children`s book please ask... you can read all about it on www.gullywith.com and I`ll happily send a copy to anyone with children between about 7 and 12 - or with a reading/mental age ditto. So that`s for Vegy sorted then. :hearty

You could have signed it though, as I will be keeping it boxed up in Cameron’s Trust Fund until he's 80, in the hope that the value goes up a few 1000% on the Antiques road show 2095 :laugh
